Existing reinforcement

• Definition of the existing (non-pretensioned) reinforcement as basic reinforcement

Bonded reinforcement

• Predefined materials
• Number, thickness and width of the strips for each CEDRUS beam section

Actions

• Loading of the unstregthened slab
• Loading of the strengthened slab

Analysis

• All verifications needed for the bonded reinforcement are included in the beam section analysis
• Loading mechanism with two steps
• Consideration of the bond parameter κ according to SIA 166: Mean strains (ε) are used for determining the plane of strain, for the equilibrium relations the section at the crack is used
  κ = ε/ε"

Results

• Needed sections for the (non-pretensioned) reinforcement and bonded reinforcement
• Zone information along the beam section:
  I: uncracked (State I)
  II: cracked (State II)
• The ratio of the concrete compression zone to the static height allows a quick estimation if the use of bonded reinforcement is reasonable at all
• Strains of (non-pretensioned) reinforcements (mean strains ε, strains at the crack ε")
• Strains of the bonded reinforcement (meain strains ε, strains at the crack ε")
• Axial forces of the strips
• Shear forces between the strips and the concrete cross section
• Output of the effective anchorage length whereby an exceeding does not increase the resistance of the anchorage
• Comparission of the actual values with permitted values of the code for verifying

• Tabular formated and graphical plot of all results
