I set the wall and column properties to 'no tensile forces transmitted' but I get negative reactions anyway. Why?

All loadings are always solved linearly in the first place. Those results are offered in the branch 'Loadings - linear' of the result tree.

In the loading properties dialog there is a check box called 'solve nonlinearly'. If there are loadings with this box checked and any supports with the no tensile forces property, you will find a branch 'Loadings - nonlinear' in the result tree containing these loadings. If you choose a loading from this branch, you will get the nonlinear results.
