Stand-alone installation: extended how to

Introduction

Extended explanation of the procedure for a stand-alone installation of the Cubus software on a local workstation.

Access the main folder of your Cubus distribution medium with the Windows Explorer and launch the installation by a double-click on the “Setup.exe” executable.

N.B.: If your Cubus distribution medium is a Cubus CD, the installation starts automatically as you insert your Cubus CD in the CD drive.
In the menu presented, select your preferred language and click [Next›].
Follow the dialogs of the Setup utility. We recommend that you accept all suggestions.
The newest licences are automatically loaded. You may however explicitly select the licenses you want to install.
- Click [Delete all] to delete all licenses already loaded.
- Click [Details] to get more information about each license available on your Cubus distribution medium.
- Click [Load] to add licenses from your Cubus distribution medium to the list of licenses already loaded.
Close the Setup utility.

If you have a remote management of the logins, you should further check the correct configuration of the “Hardlock”.

You may now start the Cubus applications from the CubusExplorer as follows:
press the ‹Windows logo› key and type “CubusExplorer”.
