I have a cross section consisting of several subsections, one of them being a rolled-steel section. How can I transform this rolled-steel-subsection into a standard section defined by outline?

Select the subsection and choose 'Attributes' in its context menu. Select the tab sheet 'Transform' in the appearing dialog and switch to 'Transform into section defined by outline' followed by [Apply].
