What was new in the former generations of STATIK
In the listing below you can see the news in the former generations of STATIK. The collected changes compared to the predecessor generation are listed.
What was new in STATIK-7
- Elastic support of beams (longitudinal and transversal)
- Postprocessor for members:
-
- Envelope specification of unlimited complexity
- Fire restistance analysis
- Improved calculation of buckling load
General
- Faster GUI in case of a big number of loadings
- Improved treatment of surface loads from CEDRUS building models
- Report generator: editor with insert, move and modify functionality. Storing reports as templates for other projects.
- Upgrade to most recent version of national codes
- New graphical user-interface with optimized fonts, support of high-resultion displays
- Improved support for network installations
What was new in STATIK-6
Base module
- Name filter and Clippingbox for reduced visibility
- Member dialog: simplified handling of modified stiffnesses
- Bills of quantities (list of parts)
- Efficient tool to find the reason of intabilities
- Report: automatic actualization after modifications of the input
- Mulitiplication of the load values for a group of selected loads by a given factor
- Subsystem handling adapted to CEDRUS standard
- Capacity limits for super elements eliminated (used for modelling the bending stiffness of slabs for structures generated by the CEDRUS building moule)
- Support of PDF readers other than the Acrobat reader
Option 3 (3D structures)
- Rendered display of deformations and eigenmodes
Option D (Dynamics, Earthquake analyses)
- Output of maximum member accelerations for response spectrum analyses (useful for installed equipment or later loads on brick walls).
- Limit values of response spectrum analysis result components now include values of corresponding components
- Positive distributed heavy loads are also allowed for mass determination, provided that in total there is a negative, e.g. downward facing load remains. So far, the „dedution” of loads in zones with lower load was not allowed.
Option V (Prestressing)
- Alternative input of tendon geometry by means of parabolic sections
- Import of tendons from STATIK-3
