Update of a Stand-alone Installation

Introduction

This document is a step-by-step guide of how to update a stand-alone installation of the Cubus software on a workstation with access to the Internet.

Update

N.B.: Administrator privileges are necessary!

  1. Close all your Cubus applications and utilities and make sure the workstation has proper access to the Internet.
  2. Start the CubusManager.
  3. Wait until the availability of internet updates has been checked.
  4. Click [Download now].

  5. Wait until all components have been downloaded.
  6. Click [Install now].

  7. If UAC is enabled on your system, you may see a red message in the CubusManager:
    “Please allow execution of cSetup.exe (check Taskbar)!” and a shield on the task bar.
    UACShield Click on the shield to allow the execution of the Setup utility.
  8. The Setup utility is now executed automatically.
  9. Close the CubusManager.
