Update the installation
Introduction
In this document, we discuss the internet update for registered Update-Service or ServicePlus users only. The update procedure can only be applied on a properly configured Cubus installation. Depending on whether you have a stand-alone or an application server installation, the update procedure differs slightly.
You may check if internet updates are availbale for your current installation by starting the
CubusManager:
Stand-alone installation
You have a stand-alone installation if the Cubus software has been directly installed on your workstation, most probably on a non-shared local disk, and if you did not check the option “The Cubus applications run on a network from a server” in the CubusNetworkManager.
The installation type is displayed in the upper right corner of the CubusManager.
Application server installation
You have an application server installation if the Cubus software has been installed on a file server, in a shared folder, and if the option “The Cubus applications run on a network from a server” in the CubusNetworkManager has been checked.
The installation type is displayed in the upper right corner of the CubusManager.
